    ​​​​​Valuation Department is responsible for the maintenance of the Valuation list for all the five Municipal Councils.  The Valuation Officer assesses the Net Annual value as prescribed under the Local Government (General Rate) Regulations 2017 for all properties found within the jurisdiction of the M|unicipal councils for the levying of General Rates.
    ​
    The Valuation Officer also determines any objections and proposals made in relation to entry in the Valuation List.  Whenever there is no agreement reached, the case is referred to the Valuation Tribunal.
