PARENT MINISTRY

The Valuation Department operates under the aegis
of the Ministry of Housing and Land Use Planning.

We provide valuation and professional property
advice to the ministries and government
departments. our human resources as at year 2023
constitute of 172 personal comprising Chartered
Valuation Surveyors, Property Valuation Inspectors
and administrative cadres.

To provide independent, impartial, and objective
Valuation and professional property advice to the
government.
To act as Expert Witness before Committees,
Tribunals and Courts with independence,
impartiality and integrity.
To deliver our services to the expectation of
stakeholders in accordance with international
norms, standards, and practices.
To adopt reforms and technology for an improved
efficiency in the provision of valuation and
professional property advice.
To have a dynamic and highly productive work
force with multi-skilled, innovative, and
dedicated officers.
